How can we help?

Getting started

I just joined. What should I do first?
  1. Complete your profile: photo, headline and a short bio.
  2. Tell us what you want to accomplish in What to do next on your Home page; ELLE builds a step-by-step plan for you.
  3. Connect with 3–5 members whose work inspires you.
  4. Say hello in the feed.
  5. RSVP to an upcoming meeting.
  6. Explore My toolkit: start a project in ELLE Path or prepare for a license in ELLE Certify.
What is ELLE Network?

ELLE Family Office Network is a private professional community for women, by women. Here you can build your profile, connect with other members, join and host meetings, book mentors and pray with ELLE faith leaders, find opportunities such as board seats, investments and keynotes, and bring your projects in front of supporters. You also get practical tools: ELLE Path to keep projects on track, ELLE Certify to prepare for licenses and certifications, career and wellness tools, and Ask ELLE, your AI concierge.

ELLE stands for EMPOWERMENT – LEGACY – LEADERSHIP – EXCELLENCE. Read who we are.

Can I look around before joining?

Yes. On the welcome page, choose Take a look around first. After a quick check that you're a person, you get a one-hour preview of what's happening in the network: activity, upcoming meeting and opportunity titles, mentoring areas and examples from each tool. Member names, photos and profiles stay private to members, and the tools themselves work once you join (it's free to start). Take a look.

How does "What to do next" on my Home page work?

Choose up to three things you want to accomplish (for example: grow my network, find a mentor, raise funding, join a board). ELLE shows the steps for each one and ticks them off automatically as you complete them.

Change your goals any time from the What to do next card on your Home page. If you get stuck, tap Ask ELLE to help for a personal walkthrough.

How do I find a page, member or answer quickly?

Tap the search icon at the top of any page and start typing. Suggestions appear as you type: help answers, pages, members, meetings, mentors and opportunities. Press Enter to see all help results.

Can I change how the site looks?

Yes. Choose Lotus (water lily backgrounds), Classic (clean and light) or Evening (plum and rose, softer at night) from your avatar menu, from Settings or at the bottom of any page.

Your profile & privacy

How do I complete my profile?
  1. Open Edit profile.
  2. Upload a warm, professional photo.
  3. Write a headline (what you do, in one line) and a bio of a few sentences.
  4. Add your industry, location, expertise and experience.
  5. Choose what you're open to (mentoring, board roles, investing…) so the right people find you.

Your Home page shows how complete your profile is.

Can I use a nickname instead of my full name?

Yes. In Edit profile, under How other members see your name, choose your full name, your first name and last initial, or a nickname. Your real name stays private to you and the ELLE team.

Who can see my profile?

Signed-in ELLE members. Supporters and investors see your profile only if you connect with them, or if the ELLE team opens the Members directory to them; you can stay hidden from supporters at any time in Settings. They never see your social links. If you allow it, members can share a short public card with an outside contact when they recommend you; you can turn that off in Edit profile.

How do recommendations work?

Open a connection's profile and choose Write a recommendation. She can show it on her profile. You can also Recommend to a contact: send her profile to someone outside ELLE who should meet her. See yours in Recommendations.

Can I see who viewed my profile?

Professional and Founder members see who viewed their profile, on their own profile page. On Community you see how many people viewed it. Compare plans.

Connecting & messages

How do I connect with other members?
  1. Browse Members and filter by industry or what they're open to.
  2. Open a profile and tap Connect. Add a short note about why; it makes a big difference.
  3. When she accepts, you can message each other.

Community members can send 15 requests a month; Professional and Founder are unlimited.

How do I send a message?

Open Messages or a connection's profile and tap Message. You can message members you're connected with, so everyone feels safe. Messages update live while the page is open.

Where do I see connection requests?

Your Home page shows new invitations, and My network lists everyone: received, sent and connected. A red number on Network means someone is waiting.

Why are there supporters and investors in the Members list?

The Members list shows everyone in the ELLE community: the women members first, then supporters and investors, each with a Supporter or Investor label. Use the Everyone menu to show only women, only supporters or only investors. Supporter accounts are reviewed by the ELLE team. Most can't send connection requests; those the ELLE team has verified by phone and given full access (for example a pastor or investor) can invite you, and you decide whether to accept. Connect with a supporter or investor to message each other; accepting one's interest in your project connects you too.

How do I block or report someone?

Open her profile and choose Block or report at the bottom. Blocked members can't see you, message you or appear in your lists. Reports go to the ELLE team privately. Unblock any time in Settings.

Can I start a group chat?

Yes, on Professional and Founder: Messages → New group (or Start a group from a conversation), name it and add connections. Great for masterminds, project teams and accountability circles.

Everyone can join groups they're invited to, on any plan, and anyone in a group can add people from their own connections with + Add people (the organizer can switch this to "Only me" in Group details). People who are added see the conversation from the moment they join, not earlier messages. The organizer can remove people, and anyone can leave. Groups hold up to 50 people.

Mentoring

How do I book a mentor?
  1. Open Mentors and search by topic or industry.
  2. Choose a session to see the mentor's practice, price and reviews.
  3. Pick a time (shown in your time zone) and write what you'd like to focus on.
  4. Complimentary sessions (including all prayer and pastoral care sessions) are confirmed right away; paid sessions are paid securely by card.

You'll get a calendar invitation and a private video room.

What is "faith-based support", and who can see my answer?

If your faith in God matters to you, you can tell ELLE you would welcome faith-based support, at sign-up or any time in Settings. ELLE then also suggests prayer and pastoral conversations with ELLE Faith Leaders (pastors, ministers, chaplains) next to your mentors and meetings.

Your answer is private: it is never shown on your profile, and no one, including faith leaders, can see it or your ELLE Compass results. A faith leader only sees what you write when you book with her.

What is an ELLE Approved Mentor?

Every mentor is reviewed personally by the ELLE team before she can publish sessions. Approved mentors have a badge, a practice profile, and ELLE member pricing (often below their regular rate).

How do I become a mentor or give my time for free?

Every member can apply: open Mentoring, choose a mentor or a faith leader, tell us about yourself and submit. Once the ELLE team approves you, publish your sessions, set your weekly hours and get booked. Complimentary sessions are open on every plan; paid sessions are part of Professional and Founder (ELLE keeps a small share).

Can I cancel or reschedule a session?

Open the session from My sessions and choose Cancel. Paid sessions cancelled more than 24 hours ahead are refunded; free sessions, including prayer, can be cancelled any time. To reschedule, cancel and book a new time.

What is My Walk with God?

A quiet, private space for members whose faith in God matters to them. Choose How is your heart today? to receive Bible verses (King James Version) and a short word of encouragement, keep a private prayer and gratitude journal, follow a gentle reading plan, watch sermons chosen by the ELLE team, and, if you wish, ask an ELLE faith leader to pray for you.

It appears in your toolkit once you tell ELLE your faith matters to you in Settings. Everything you keep there is visible only to you; a prayer request is seen only by the faith leader you choose. Nothing there is written by AI or used for suggestions, analytics or marketing, and you can delete it all in one click.

Who are the ELLE Faith Leaders?

Pastors, ministers, chaplains and prayer partners, approved by the ELLE team, who offer prayer and pastoral care. These sessions are always free. Prayer partners (such as De Anna) pray with you but aren’t ordained. Some faith leaders are supporters the ELLE team has verified personally. Find them under Mentors → Prayer & pastoral care. Members can apply to serve from Mentoring.

Membership & billing

What do the membership plans include?

Compare all features.

How do I upgrade?
  1. Open Membership plans.
  2. Choose monthly, 1 year or 2 years.
  3. Tap Choose Professional or Choose Founder and pay securely with Stripe.

New features are ready as soon as payment completes. Features you don't have yet show a small lock and lead to the plans page.

Is there a discount for paying yearly?

Yes. Pay for 1 year and save 20%, or 2 years and save 40%. Choose the period at the top of Plans.

How do I cancel or change my membership?

Use Manage billing in Settings. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you paid for, then moves to Community. Nothing is deleted.

The community feed

How do I post in the community feed?

On your Home page, write in What would you like to share. Choose Share an update, Ask for advice, Celebrate a win or Share a resource, add a photo if you like, and pick who sees it (all members or your connections). Members can react and comment.

Can I share my Instagram, Facebook or X posts in the feed?

Yes. In the post box, tap Share one of your Instagram, Facebook or X posts and paste the link to your post. It appears as a card; members tap Show post here to see it. You can share up to 2 a week so the feed stays personal.

What are "ELLE Stories" and "Member Spotlight" in the feed?

ELLE Stories is one hand-picked story a day about women's success, from respected publications; tap through to read the full article at the source. Member Spotlight introduces one member each week. You can opt out of being featured in Settings.

How do I edit or delete my post?

Tap the ⋯ menu on your post and choose Edit post or Delete post. You can also remove comments on your own posts.

Meetings & circles

How do I join a meeting?

Open Meetings, choose one and tap I'm going. You'll get a reminder the day before and can add it to your calendar. For online meetings, the Join meeting button on the meeting page opens the video room.

How do I host a meeting?

Professional and Founder members can host: Host a meeting → title, time, format and who's invited (the whole community or selected members). Paste your own Zoom, Meet or Teams link, or leave it blank and ELLE creates a free video room. Invited members are notified. Professional hosts up to 50 guests, Founder up to 200.

Can I add meetings to my calendar?

Yes. Every meeting and mentoring session has Add to calendar (works with Google, Apple and Outlook calendars). My calendar lists everything you're attending.

Opportunities

Where do I find board seats, investments, keynotes and other opportunities?

Open Opportunities and filter by type: board seats, investment / co-invest, startups looking for co-founders, keynotes and panels, introductions, jobs, projects and more. Tap one and send a short note to respond.

How do I post an opportunity?

Post an opportunity, choose its type, describe it and how long it stays open. Members who match are notified, and you'll see each response with the member's profile. Community members can post 2 a month; Professional and Founder are unlimited.

How do I ask for an introduction?

Post an opportunity of type Introduction request saying who you'd like to meet and why. Members who can help will respond. You can also ask a connection directly in Messages.

ELLE Compass & Ask ELLE

What is in My toolkit?

Practical tools that save you time: ELLE Path (projects and goals with milestones, tasks, reminders and documents), ELLE Certify (license and exam prep), Meeting prep (get ready for an interview, pitch, negotiation or any important meeting), Interview coach (a spoken practice interview with feedback), Idea studio (shape an idea into a clear brief), Nutrition & BMI, Wellness routine, Workout plan, My progress (a private weekly tracker with graphs) and, if you are looking for a new role, the Resume builder. Members who invest can also turn on the Investor toolkit. Everything saves as you go, is private to you, and can be downloaded as a PDF or emailed to you. Open My toolkit.

What is the ELLE Compass?

A private 5-minute check-in on seven areas of life: wellness, family, money, career, business, life transitions and purpose. You get a life wheel, a personal plan with simple actions, and matching mentors and meetings inside ELLE. Take the check-in.

What can Ask ELLE help with?

Ask ELLE is your AI concierge. It can walk you through anything on the site step by step, and help you think through work, money, family and wellbeing, pointing you to mentors, meetings, opportunities and tools inside ELLE. Each reply uses one of your monthly ELLE AI messages. Open Ask ELLE.

It gives general information, not medical, legal or financial advice.

What is ELLE Path?

ELLE Path keeps your projects and goals on track. Answer a few questions about a project (a business, a launch, an event, a certification, a health or personal goal) and ELLE suggests milestones and small tasks with dates. Change anything: add, edit, re-date or delete tasks and milestones, set priorities, and choose who's responsible for each task. You get a timeline, reminders on the days you choose, calendar invitations (download, email, or subscribe so your calendar stays up to date), and badges and celebrations as you go. In Documents, one click creates a status report, one-pager, proposal, budget or launch checklist, or ELLE can turn photos of notes, a whiteboard or receipts into a clean document. Download as PDF or Word. Turn an Idea studio brief or your Funding Brief into a project in one click. ELLE's suggestions use your monthly Ask ELLE messages; everything else is free. Open ELLE Path.

How does ELLE Certify work?

ELLE Certify helps you prepare for securities licenses (SIE, Series 6, 7, 24, 63, 65, 66 and more) and certifications such as CFP, CFA, CPA, Enrolled Agent and CPWA, or any exam you add. Start with a short diagnostic, then use Study mode (notes, formulas, flashcards and recommended videos and articles with their sources), Coach mode (practice with hints, instant explanations and "Pause and learn") and Exam mode (the real number of questions and time limit, flag and review, no hints). Missed questions return in your mistake bank until you've mastered them, and your readiness by topic shows where to focus. Add your exam date to get a study plan in ELLE Path, and email a study pack to yourself or a study partner. Open ELLE Certify.

What is ELLE Bloom?

ELLE Bloom helps you grow a new skill at your own pace: for a new role, for work, or just for joy (public speaking, leadership, Excel, a new language, writing, investing, a creative hobby, or any skill you name). Take a 2-minute snapshot of where you are on each part of the skill (Beginner, Developing, Confident, Advanced), then follow a gentle plan in stages: small steps to learn, practice and apply, plus any steps of your own. There are no deadlines; check in whenever you feel you've grown, watch your snapshot change, and earn badges 🌱🌿🌸🪷. When it helps, ELLE suggests next steps: move the plan to ELLE Path for dates and reminders, prepare for a matching exam in ELLE Certify, book a mentor, or add the skill to your profile. Ready-made plans are free; for other skills ELLE writes a plan using 1 of your monthly AI messages. Your snapshot is your own view of your skills, not a certification. Open ELLE Bloom.

Who sees my ELLE Bloom progress and stories?

Only you, unless you share. When you reach a new level, ELLE offers a drafted post you can edit and share with your connections or all members, or skip. Separately, you can tick “ELLE may share this story outside the community”: then ELLE may use it, for example on the ELLE website or social media, with your first name and last initial only (like “Maria G.”) and never your photo. You can withdraw that permission any time on the skill's page, and it is removed wherever it was shown.

How do I build a resume?

Open the Resume builder. Have an old resume? Upload it (PDF, Word .docx or text) and we fill in the form for you to check: correct or remove anything, tick that it’s accurate, and ELLE creates your enhanced version. The file itself is not kept. Otherwise we fill in what we know from your profile; add the role you want and, if you like, paste the job ad. ELLE can polish the wording to match the role and industry (it never invents jobs, dates or numbers). Download it as a PDF or email it to yourself. The resume builder appears for members who are looking for a new role; you can turn career tools on in My toolkit.

What counts as an ELLE AI message?

ELLE AI messages are used whenever ELLE writes or personalizes something for you: an Ask ELLE reply, a personalized toolkit document, an Idea studio refinement, a practice interview (2 messages), an ELLE Path plan, suggestion or document, an investor analysis or memo, and ELLE Certify study notes or a material search. ELLE Certify practice questions don't count. Your allowance depends on your plan (Community 15, Professional 150, Founder 300, Investor Access 20 a month) and resets on the 1st. When you've used them, every tool still works and gives you the standard version. Compare plans.

How does the Interview coach work?

Open Interview coach, paste the job description, choose your interviewer, style and length (up to 30 minutes). The interviewer asks one question at a time out loud, after a short countdown, and listens to your answers through your microphone (or you can type). You can pause and come back later. At the end you get an overall score, scores for rapport, relevance, structure, examples, clarity and confidence, feedback on every answer with a stronger example, your speaking pace and filler words, and the full transcript. Download it, email it to yourself, or delete it permanently. A practice interview uses 2 Ask ELLE messages.

How does the Idea studio work?

Open Idea studio and answer a few quick questions about your idea: what it is, who it's for, the problem it solves, your time and budget, and what would help most. ELLE turns your answers into a clear idea brief: summary, audience, how it works, risks, what to test first, next steps and questions to keep thinking about. Your ideas are saved, so you can come back any day, add notes so you don't forget key points, or ask ELLE to refine a part (each refinement uses 1 Ask ELLE message; notes are free). When you're happy with it, download it or email it to yourself as a professional PDF. Only you can see your ideas, and Delete this idea permanently removes the idea and all its notes.

How does the workout plan work?

Open Workout plan and tell us your goal, what you enjoy, the days and time you have, your equipment, your daily steps and any aches or conditions. You get a weekly schedule, strength workouts with sets, reps, rest and tempo (with easier options and joint-friendly swaps), cardio sessions, a 4-week progression and a steps plan. If you have a Nutrition plan, we compare its calories in with your estimated calories out (your body, steps and workouts), and for fat loss we aim for a moderate deficit of about 300–500 calories a day. The plan lists the research it is based on, with links. It is general guidance, not medical advice.

Who can see My progress?

Only you. My progress keeps nothing until you turn it on, and your check-ins are never shown on your profile or to other members, mentors, faith leaders or the ELLE team in the app. Check in once a week (weight or measurements, steps, workouts, energy and sleep) to see graphs, what’s working and what to adjust. You can set goals (we’ll ask you to reconsider a goal that could harm your health), get a weekly email reminder, add check-ins and workouts to your calendar, download your data as a CSV, or delete everything in one click.

What happens to my voice in the Interview coach?

The microphone is used only during your practice interview and turns off when you pause or finish. Your browser's speech service (Google in Chrome, Apple in Safari) turns your voice into text; ELLE saves only that text, privately in your account, until you delete the interview. If you choose to record, the audio is kept only on your own device, never on ELLE's servers, and deleting the interview removes it.

Who can see my ELLE Path projects?

Only you, unless you share a project. When you make someone responsible for a task without sharing the project, they receive that task only (its name, due date and your note) by email with a calendar invitation, or as an ELLE notification if they're one of your connections. When you share a project (People tab), the people you add can see its plan, tasks, notes, documents and who is responsible for each task; you can remove them any time. Photos you upload to create a document are read once by ELLE and never stored; only the document text is saved. Your private calendar link shows task names and dates, so keep it to yourself (you can replace it any time in the project's Settings).

Can I share an ELLE Path project with my team?

Yes. Open the project, choose People (or Share), and add one of your ELLE connections or anyone by email as a Viewer (sees the plan, timeline and documents, and ticks off tasks assigned to them) or an Editor (also adds and edits milestones, tasks and documents). ELLE accounts get access right away. People outside ELLE get an email invitation and create a free ELLE account with that email to open the project; women join as members and everyone else as supporters, and they can open the project right away, even while a supporter account is being reviewed. Only you change the project's settings or sharing, or delete it. The Community membership includes 2 people per project; Professional and Founder include up to 25. See plans.

Are these the real exam questions?

No. ELLE writes original practice questions from each exam's public content outline. Real exam questions are confidential, and sharing or using them can cost a candidate her registration. Questions include explanations, and you can report any that look wrong; the ELLE team reviews them. Exam facts (number of questions, time, passing score) come from official sources and show the date they were checked; always confirm with the official organization. ELLE Certify isn't affiliated with any certifying organization.

What is “Your next step”?

When you finish something in your toolkit, ELLE suggests one or two next steps and carries your information over, so you never retype it. For example: turn a finished idea into an ELLE Path project or a Funding Brief, practice the interview for the role on your resume, add a meeting's follow-up note to ELLE Path for tomorrow, add a passed exam to your profile and share the win, make your ELLE Compass priority a goal, turn what you agreed in a mentoring session into tasks, or make a workout or nutrition plan a 4-week goal with weekly check-ins. When you ask Ask ELLE about something a tool does (an interview, a business idea, a salary negotiation), it offers to open that tool with your question filled in. Tap Not now to hide a suggestion. Suggestions don't use AI messages.

Why does the nutrition tool ask for my age, height and weight?

They are needed to calculate your BMI, daily energy, protein and water. Your answers are saved only in your own plan: never on your profile, never visible to other members, mentors or faith leaders. You can choose not to see any numbers, and you can delete the plan any time. It is general guidance, not medical advice.

Are my Ask ELLE conversations private?

Your conversations are private to you. The ELLE team may review a conversation only if a safety concern is flagged. You can delete your history any time in Ask ELLE.

Why is my second exam waiting for approval in ELLE Certify?

Preparing a new exam uses ELLE's AI to write its practice questions. On free and complimentary plans you can prepare one exam at a time, and exams the ELLE team has pre-built are always open. If you add another exam that isn't pre-built while your first one is unfinished, De Anna approves it first, and you'll get a notification. Finishing your current exam, or marking it as passed, lets you add the next one right away. Paying members are never held.

Projects & funding

How can ELLE help me raise funding?

Founder members answer one guided intake and ELLE compiles a standardized Funding Brief with a readiness score. After a quick review by the ELLE team, your project is published to supporters and investors, who can signal interest. Start a project.

What is the readiness score?

It shows how complete and investor-ready your brief is, based on the questions you've answered. The higher it is, the stronger your brief. Investor prep questions help you get ready for conversations.

What happens when a supporter is interested in my project?

You get a notification. Open your project to see who's interested and accept to share your contact details. Nothing is shared until you accept.

Can members use the Investor toolkit?

Yes, if you invest. Members who have investing as a goal or are open to investing can turn it on from the Investor toolkit page. Analyses and memos use your Ask ELLE messages.

Inviting & sharing

How do I invite a friend to ELLE?

Open Invite friends. Share your personal link by WhatsApp, text, email or social media, or send up to 5 email invitations at once. You'll see who joined; invite 3 and you earn the ELLE Ambassador badge.

How do I share a meeting, session or profile?

Look for the Share buttons on meetings, mentoring sessions, opportunities and your own profile (Share my profile).

Account, security & help

I forgot my password. What do I do?

On the sign-in page choose Forgot your password? and we'll email you a link. If it doesn't arrive (check spam), contact the ELLE team: we can send you a link by text or set a temporary password over the phone.

I was a member of the old ELLE website. Is my account here?

Yes, members of the previous site were brought over. Sign in with the same email and your old password, or use Forgot your password? to choose a new one. Then complete your profile so members can find you.

Can I sign in with Google or LinkedIn?

Yes. Choose Continue with Google or Continue with LinkedIn on the sign-in page. ELLE never sees your Google or LinkedIn password. If you already have an ELLE account with the same email, it connects automatically. You can connect or disconnect sign-ins, or add a password, in Settings.

How do I contact the ELLE team?

Email us at the address in your welcome email, or reply to any ELLE email. For anything urgent about safety, use Block or report on a profile or post.

Can my ELLE plans show up in my own calendar?

Yes. Open My ELLE calendar and subscribe once in Google, Apple or Outlook Calendar. Your ELLE Path due dates and milestones, meetings you’re going to, confirmed sessions, ELLE Certify exam days, ELLE Bloom practice times and your next ELLE Compass check-in then appear in your calendar and stay up to date on their own. You choose what’s included.

ELLE never emails calendar invites on its own. Wherever you see Add to calendar, you can download the event or have it emailed to you. Keep your private link to yourself; you can reset it any time.

How do I change my password or email preferences?

Open Settings to change your password, time zone, email notifications, the weekly digest and announcement emails.

What happens if I leave a long form halfway?

Long forms (the toolkit, funding briefs, your profile, new meetings and opportunities) save your progress as you type. When you come back, choose Continue where I left off.
